When it Comes to Evangelism, the Pressure is Off feat. Shaila Visser

Show Notes

We invited Shaila Visser to Show & Tell--an event in Portland, Oregon hosted by the Portland Evangelism Team to inspire local leaders and believers in sharing the gospel. Before the gathering we sat down with Shaila to hear her personal story and her dreams for the future of evangelization in North America. Shaila is the Senior Vice President of Alpha International as well as the National Director of Alpha Canada. Alpha creates hospitable spaces for everyone to have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view--wherever they are in the world. Listen now or read the show notes! In this episode you will:

Discover the shift that took place in Canada when sharing faith went from filling out a card to having a conversation.
Find out who said: "The best Alpha groups are the ones with people who leave stomping out!"
Hear how a woman healed nine people on a plane when she listened to the Holy Spirit.
Learn how Alpha Youth is exploding in Canada because teens--not adults--are leading the groups.
